About damn time!

I've just been trying to get used to me normal life again. Well I said I'd go into more detail about what happened, so let's start.
I landed there on a Wednesday. I found my bags and headed towards the exit, which meant going down some stairs. As I got close to the ground I saw a big guy holding a sign that said "SpoonyKipper". I laughed to myself and headed to the guy I didn't know holding the sign. Funny thing was he didn't know me either, so when I commented on the sign he thought I was just another random person asking about it. He finally got that I was SpoonyKipper and then Bev, her daughter and Susan came out from their hiding spots. Susan was dressed in this stunning dressed and came up and hugged me. I was a bit shocked from this and I think she could tell, the whole not used to gorgeous women wanting to hug me bit. Later I found out it's just how people are in Alabama, a lot more friendly.
When we went outside it hit me how hot and stuffy it was in New Orleans. We walked to the cars and I picked to go with Bev and her daughter, since Susan and Johnathan (the big guy) smoked. I would soon found out that pretty much everyone smoked. We stopped at a Waffle House on the way to Mobile AL as I was hungry. I'd not eatten on the flight due to a news report I'd seen about the airline I had used. I'm guessing I stuck out like a sore thumb...It's such an odd feeling I mean, everything was the same in a way but not, small things had changed. Anyway we ordered food, with me asking what the hell some stuff was. I don't remeber the ride to Susan's house but I do remeber falling asleep with her. The next morning I could hear people talking, her Nan was confused and wondering who the guy was in Susan's bed. I'll point out at this time that NOTHING happened, it was just sleep. She is a friend who also had a boyfriend (at the time), so I wouldn't have done anything.
I don't remeber much of the second day. We did go to Carpe Diem later. Carpe was a cafe (also had a Dead Poets Society movie poster inside) where we would hangout at most days, before working out what we were doing. At Carpe I got to meet a lot more people such as Wes, Anastasia, Kira, Thomas, Chris, Lisa, Jamie, Chad and Casey. While at Carpe we'd chat, play Uno, Monopoly Deal or 9's. Once we got bored or it got late enough we'd either head home or got to a pub. Since my second day there was a Thursday it was Karaoke night up at Hayley's bar. We'd go there pretty much every Thursday.
Hayley's was like a biker bar (well to me it looked like one). Wes and Johnathan liked doing Karaoke and had a few songs already in the queue. They did ask me to sing, but I was nervous. So Susan fixed me up a paralyzer, which is:
1 shot of Tecilla
1 shot Burban
1 shot Rum
1 shot Vodka
1 shot Triple Set
1 shot Southern Comfort
1 shot Whiskey
In a shaker half filed with ice
pour them all in, put equial amounts of
orange and pinapple, tiny splash of
cranberry juice and a little bit of granadeen
shaker should be full after that.
Shake well, strain in to 3 rocked glasses
rocked glasses should be closed to full.
But this was only put two cups, one was for me and the other was for Johnathan. After that I was a lot more relaxed, drunk and wanted to sing! I ended up singing most Thursdays, as well as slowly working towards singing with out needing a drink beforehand.
Anyway, this was only the first two days and I experienced lots while I was there, far too much to be able to put on here so I'll sum up the best points.
Being a typical guy the first would be! Being in a hot tub with two topless girls and one naked one. Also two of them started "messing" with each other, one had perfect breasts. I almost had a photo of me with the three of them, but they changed their minds just as it was about to be taken. Oh well, I'll always have a picture in my mind of it.
Second, would be all the people and the stuff we did. They are a lot nicer, friendlier, warm then the people that live near me and most people in the UK. The stuff we did ranged from just hanging out, going to the cinema, seeing a band or me just making dinner for some of them. They liked me a lot, they didn't want me to leave and I didn't want to go. I'm thinking about moving out there.
Third, would be the "no strings" fling I had with someone while over there. It was only for a few days, but she rated me very highly and wanted to become my girlfriend. I, a little embarrassed that they talk about such things with each other (she told Susan how good I was), but I was also surprised and then amused, considering she was my third. Yes I rocked her world! Go me. I will add that I don't see the big thing about sex with no emotional connection, or why guys like it so much. Sex with out love for me is just...Meh.
The fourth would be my tattoo, which is of a biohazard symbol and a reminder of my trip. I've been wanting it for awhile and got it got done by a guy called Chad. I ended up going to his wedding, which was a nice day and I ended up bring a bartender. Guess that also includes the fifth, going to an American wedding.
My sixth thing would be shooting a gun. I got to shoot a .40cal and a .32cal handgun at a range. It's surprising how loud a gun can be heh.
Seventh would be going to Orlando in Florida! Getting to meet up with Doodles again, going to Universal Studios which was a great day out with all the rides, bowling and getting my first turkey! (Three strikes in a row), going swimming and also eating gator!
Well that's my trip to the US. Granted more did go on, but it would take ages to tell you all about it. It was my escape and thanks to it I finally feal like my normal self. It's good to be me again!
