Sit back and let the world sort it out.
Posted: Friday, 5 February 2010 by Spoonykipper inWell I've been speaking to my date since last Thursday and we have set up another date. At first it was set for Sunday after she'd finished work and we were going to go bowling at but then she said she might be too tired and changed it to watching a film. Only problem then was finding a film and a time to see it, as she lives in the town over and we both dont drive (thats my lil way saying I didn't pass my test). So we needed to find a film between 7-8pm but there are like none, had a kids one at 7:50, Avatar at 8 (which we have both seen) and some "rom-com" on at 8:10.
While talking to her and finding we both normally have Saturday off we changed the date to Saturday. Then came the "what to do" moment, do we watch a film, go bowling or both? Since she didn't know my town she was going to get a bus to the town centre and then a cab up to Jarman Park, but I said I'd meet her in town and then we can both get a cab up. After more talks of how far I live from town and how far Jarman's was etc, she text saying how about just get some take out and some DVD's and watch those it seem's alot easier. So now I'm going round her's about lunch time tomorrow to watch some films.
In other news, we had a meeting on Monday and we could be all out of a job (well my office). They said they are going to see what we do and then see if it needs to stay at headoffice or get moved at to our call centres and since then the atmosphere at work has been bleak. I'm not really fussed, I wanted to leave here in a few months to go on my trip and now I can just sit back and have it done for me. Plue side to that is when I got to an interview and they ask why I left my last job I can say "I was redundant because they outsourced my office" instead of "I got bored so i left".
